Leadership:

Meet the Hardy family. Pastor Jesse has served in ministry in Texas for 25 years, and has spent the last 20+ years serving as a pastor in Texas. He served as Kids Pastor for twelve years, Connections Pastor for eight years, and also the lead pastor for one of the worship services on campus. Jesse graduated with degree in Christian Leadership from Ecclesia College in Springdale, AR. He has a passion for connecting with people and calling them to a life discovering the good works for which they were created. He loves working with men and with families to deepen their impact in their personal spiritual lives. He has been married for 25 years to his wife Rachel. Together they have coordinated many small and large ministry events, launched a variety of family ministries, and established a foster/adoption community. Rachel is exceptionally gifted at planning large events and hosting people and groups. She coordinated various women’s ministry and kids’ events and led ongoing  women’s Bible studies and small groups. Jesse and Rachel have six beautiful kids.  The three oldest Hardy kids will remain in the Houston/College Station area of Texas as they move into adulthood and continue on in their own educational and career journeys.

Our Mission:

Introducing people to Jesus and the work He calls us to.

(Ephesians 2:1-10)

Core Values:

Gospel Centered

Those who follow Christ were once dead and now because of His free gift are alive. This life brings hope, purpose, and meaning that compels us to share with others. Jesus is at the center of everything that is done because without Him we would have nothing worth doing, sharing, or receiving.

Sacrificial Living

Living sacrificially is more than being generous with our money, it is seeing our call to be a servant as more than a good idea but as a model of ministry given to us by Jesus (Matthew 20:28). We must run to the mess, be bothered, inconvenienced and give all we have and more for those we come in contact with. We must live in such a way that people ask why we live the way we do and we can share the Truth with them (1 Peter 3:15-16). We will develop a culture that sees sacrifice as more than just giving away of our earthly possessions, but giving away of ourselves to benefit someone else and to increase the kingdom of God.

Missional Community

“And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return in drawing near” (Hebrews 10:25). God exists in community with Jesus and the Holy Spirit. As we are created in His image, we are also built for community. This is the very foundation of RCC.
